Congratulations to Cameron Patterson (11DE) who has recently been called up to train with the @UlsterRugby u16 Provincial Squad. This is a great opportunity for the budding Inside Centre, and we wish him all the best for the rest of the season.
Our girls’ hockey teams have enjoyed a successful week. The u14s beat @Nendrumcollege 2-0 yesterday and @StrangfordIC 1-0 today, whilst the u16 side ran out 6-0 winners yesterday, also against @Nendrumcollege – well done, girls!
The choir and Band enjoyed a lovely afternoon singing for those in the Silver Birch Nursing Home in Saintfield.
Ben Cousins competed on ‘Broughshane Boy’ and ‘Loughcruise Lady’ at the Meadows on Saturday, completing both rounds in the clear. Well done, Ben. Huge congratulations to Hannah Patterson (9BI) who finished in an amazing 1st place in the Novice Tri School League at the Meadows Equestrian Centre, which ran from September to December. Well done to Hannah & to ‘Ladybug’ – a tremendous achievement!
Pupils from our GCSE Performing Arts class visited @TheMACBelfast earlier this week for a terrific performance of the panto, ‘The Elves & the Shoemaker’. #ohnotheydidnt #ohyestheydid
Our Year 12 GCSE Art and Design pupils have been working hard designing a logo for Saintfield’s new Community Centre, pictured here alongside Mrs Cooper (Head of Art and Design Department) and Damian Scarlett (from Saintfield Development Association). We are delighted to be contributing to the new centre and are excited about the opportunities this will bring to our local community.
Congratulations to our choir, who took part in @actioncancer ‘s Sound of Action concert at St Anne’s Cathedral this evening. A special thank you, too, to Mrs Birt and Mrs McMordie for their continued hard work and dedication towards music in our school.
