Soroptimist Public Speaking competition
We were delighted to host the Soroptimist Public Speaking competition in school this evening. 5 of our pupils took part, alongside pupils from DownHighSchool ,Assumption, ShimnaIC and SMHSchool The standard of speeches was highly impressive – well done to all!
‘Blue Light Day’ at Tollymore Outdoor Centre – 8MY
Pupils from 8MY had a wonderful time at a ‘Blue Light Day’ at Tollymore Outdoor Centre earlier this week, where they worked with agencies including NIFRS, PoliceServiceNI, niorienteering and MourneMRT

Careers Fair – Titanic Exhibition Centre
Our Year 12 pupils enjoyed a great day out at a major Careers Fair at the Titanic exhibition centre in Belfast on Wednesday. Thank you to all involved for a extremely useful day out!
Netball
Another busy week of sport here at Saintfield High School. We played a brace of Netball matches against Dundonald High yesterday, with our Year 9’s winning 4-2, and our Year 11’s winning 13-4. Well done to all players and thank you to Dundonald for two great games.
Children in Need
Some pictures from our Children in Need Talent Show our pupils put together some really terrific performances, raising more than £750 in the process! Well done to everybody who performed, and thank you to all who donated!
